Education and experience
Ruben Basiliades graduated with honours in 2024 with a Master’s degree in Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he focused primarily on public law. In that year, he studied at the Université Grenoble Alpes (France, academic year 2023-2024) as part of the Erasmus programme. In June 2025, he obtained a major distinction in the specialised Master’s degree in Public Real Estate Law and Environmental Law at the Université Catholique de Louvain – Saint-Louis Bruxelles.
Since October 2025, Mr. Basiliades has been part of the spatial planning and environmental law team at ORYS. He is registered with the Ordre Français des Avocats du Barreau de Bruxelles.
