After finishing his studies of Master in Law at the university of Ghent (cum laude) in 2001, Christophe joined the Brussels Bar and developed a broad practice in commercial and corporate matters, including litigation.
He has a vast experience in all commercial and corporate matters (both national and international) including lease and property matters (commercial, industrial and agricultural), construction and real estate law and liability issues (contractual liability, professional and medical liability, product liability and warranties).
Christophe assists and advises companies on a daily basis, both in drafting legal documents and providing strategic assistance.
He has dealt with numerous cases regarding distribution (i.e. car- and motor industry, large agricultural vehicles and machinery, food industry), commercial practices, insurance, leasing, franchising, factoring, banking and finance, vending and transport. He also assists companies in bankruptcy matters and defends the commercial interests of companies in criminal cases.
Christophe is known for his no-nonsense and pragmatic approach, providing punctual and tailor-made advice, assistance and solutions.
Before joining Orys in March 1st, 2022, Christophe was a partner at Dugardyn & partners (2009-2022) and associate with van Cutsem, Wittamer, Marnef & partners (2001-2009).
His practice within Orys focuses on commercial litigation, lease, construction, company law, commercial contracts and liability law.
Christophe is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
